Dedicated Servers for When
Downtime Isn't an Option.
Bare-metal performance, all of it yours — no neighbors, no oversold capacity, no hypervisor you didn't choose. Intel or AMD, single or dual socket, or several servers as one Proxmox cluster, built from components we test and burn in ourselves. The same team that built it answers when you need them.
When the Stakes Are Real, Bare Metal Answers
For lives, livelihoods, and mission-critical workloads — the kind where a single hour of downtime is a story you don't want to tell.
No noisy neighbors, no contention, no oversold capacity. The full machine answers to your workload alone — and if you want a hypervisor, it's one you install and control, not one sitting between you and the hardware you're paying for.
Intel or AMD — the newest generation or the previous one, whichever fits your budget — with ECC memory and NVMe, built from components we've tested and trust, then burned in before they ever touch production. We catch the weak parts so you never meet them.
We monitor components for the early signs of failure and replace them before they take you down — the proactive work most data centers never did for us, now standard for you.
Our own ASN and ARIN IP space, peered at DET-iX with 100+ active networks, on a multi-homed backbone. Core, distribution, and access switches all run in high-availability pairs, so the network under your cluster is built the way your cluster is.
Three Ways to Build
Every server is custom-built to order — Intel or AMD, newest or previous generation, sized to the workload rather than pulled off a spec sheet. Tell us what you're running and we'll spec it; most quotes come back within 24 hours. Asking for one isn't ordering one: the quote comes back itemized, and nothing is built until you've read it and said yes.
Single-Socket
One processor, sized to a focused workload.
- One Intel or AMD processor — newest or previous generation
- Single or dual power supply, your choice
- ECC memory and NVMe, sized to your spec
- IPMI / out-of-band access
- Burn-in tested before delivery
Dual-Socket
Two processors, sized to a memory-heavy workload.
- Two Intel or AMD processors — newest or previous generation
- Dual power supplies, each on a separate feed
- Expanded ECC memory, NVMe in RAID
- IPMI / out-of-band access
- Burn-in tested before delivery
Proxmox Cluster
Multiple dedicated servers, one high-availability platform.
- Two or more dedicated servers of either build
- Proxmox VE across every node — live migration and HA failover
- Optional Ceph for replicated, self-healing storage
- Dedicated networking hardware available
- Scales up to reserved cabinets
Not sure which of the three fits? You don't have to pick before you ask: describe the workload in your quote request and we'll help you land on the right build. All three are built to order. Choose self-managed, fully-managed, or hybrid support on any of them — and add dedicated networking hardware when your deployment calls for it.
Built for the Customers Who Can't Go Down
Our most important customers don't run one server — they run several, clustered so no single machine, drive, or network port can take them offline. Our largest customers reserve entire cabinets. The same building blocks are available to you, and you don't have to take them all at once — a cluster can start as one server and grow a node at a time. Same network, same ASN, same system administrators at every step, so scaling up is a bigger footprint here rather than a migration somewhere else.
Install Proxmox on a single dedicated server and run your own virtual machines and containers on hardware nobody else touches — full root, no hypervisor tax you didn't choose.
Join two or more dedicated servers into one Proxmox cluster. Move workloads live between nodes for planned maintenance, and if a server fails, HA restarts its VMs on a healthy one by itself — typically within about two minutes.
Add Ceph and your data is replicated across the cluster automatically. Lose a drive — or a whole node — and storage stays online and heals itself. No single disk is a single point of failure.
When a cluster outgrows a few rack units, we reserve full cabinets of dedicated servers with your own switching and routing hardware — physically yours, custom-built to your footprint, on our DET-iX-peered network.
From Request to Racked
Custom-built means we start with a conversation, not a cart. It's a short one.
Open a ticket with your ideal specification — or just describe the workload and requirements, and we'll help you land on the right build.
Self-managed, fully-managed, or a hybrid of the two, with options for dedicated networking hardware and more — matched to how hands-on you want to be.
We quote your exact request and flag extra options only when they'd genuinely help. Most quotes come back within 24 hours.
We assemble it, burn it in, document it, and rack it on our own network — then hand you the keys. The team that built it is the team that answers your tickets.
What You're Probably Wondering
Do you offer Intel and AMD?
Both. Every server is custom-built, so you choose the processor family — and the newest generation or the previous one, depending on where you'd rather spend the budget. We'll tell you honestly which fits your workload.
Can I run Proxmox — and cluster it for high availability?
Yes. Proxmox VE installs on a single dedicated server, or across two or more for live migration and automatic failover. Add Ceph when you want storage replicated across nodes so a failed drive or server never takes your data offline.
Why bare metal instead of cloud?
When you can't afford contention or noisy neighbors — high-traffic databases, latency-sensitive apps, mission-critical systems — a dedicated machine gives you every cycle, predictably. The other half of the answer is virtualization on your own terms: install Proxmox and you run the hypervisor — your own VMs and containers, carved up how you want, on hardware nobody else touches, and across two or more machines with live migration and HA failover. On someone else's cloud you get the slice they sell you; here you own the whole platform and hand out the slices yourself. If that isn't your workload yet, ask us and we'll say so: a cloud server is the cheaper place to start, and moving up to metal later doesn't mean changing companies. Same network, same ASN, same system administrators; only the hardware underneath you changes.
What support models are available?
Self-managed, fully-managed, or a hybrid of the two. You decide how hands-on you want to be, and we tailor the support agreement to match — on any of the three builds.
Can you deploy at cabinet scale, with dedicated networking?
Yes. Our largest customers run multiple reserved cabinets of dedicated servers with their own networking hardware. Open a ticket and we'll scope it with you directly.
Do you really build the servers yourselves?
Yes. We learned the hard way which components to trust, how to burn them in before production, and how to spot a failing part before it fails. That's why we run our own builds instead of trusting someone else's shortcuts.
What if hardware fails?
We monitor for the early warning signs and aim to replace failing components before they cause an outage. If something does fail, a system administrator is on it immediately — and you talk to that person directly. On a Proxmox cluster with HA, your VMs restart on a healthy node by themselves, typically within about two minutes, while we deal with the failed one.
What happens to my servers if you get acquired?
There's no parent company that could decide to move you. It does happen to dedicated tenants: in April 2026 a Dallas host that had sold customizable dedicated servers since 2003, the year we started, was bought by a larger hosting group and folded into one of its brands. Acenet has had the same family owners since then, with no outside investors and no debt — nobody holding a note to pay off, nobody waiting on an exit. The network your server sits on is ours, the hardware is ours, and the system administrators answering your tickets work here.
I'm moving from another host. Do I have to take anything down first?
No. Asking for a quote touches nothing you run today. The new build is quoted, assembled, burned in and racked on our network while your current servers keep serving, and you move over once the keys are in your hands. If your host just changed owners, or just raised the price of servers already running (one of Europe's largest dedicated providers did exactly that on April 1, 2026), the first step is the same as anyone's: open a ticket and tell us what you run now.
How long does a quote take?
Most requests get a transparent, itemized quote back within 24 hours.
Put Your Workload on Metal That Holds.
Tell us what you're running today — or what you're planning — and you'll hear back from the system administrator who'll build it, usually within 24 hours.
A quote isn't an order. It comes back itemized, extra options are flagged only when they'd genuinely help, and nothing is built until you've read it and said yes.
